How aRide works
Before payment, riders see the driver fare, the separate aRide service fee, and the total.
The rider pays before a driver accepts. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
After completion, aRide transfers the advertised driver fare to the eligible driver.
Rider service fee
The service fee is disclosed separately from the driver fare before the rider confirms payment.
Driver memberships
Every membership includes a free trial that ends after 30 days or after $1,000 in completed driver fares per subscribed vehicle—whichever comes first.
$100/ month
A straightforward membership for independent drivers.
$150/ month
A higher-tier membership for drivers building their business.
$50/ vehicle / month
For four or more subscribed vehicles under one fleet.
Fleet plans require a minimum of four subscribed vehicles. Active-vehicle management is part of a later fleet release.
Plain-language policies
These summaries explain the current aRide pilot. Final terms are presented in the product before enrollment or payment.
Eligible cancellations and service issues are reviewed by aRide. When a rider refund is approved, the full rider total is returned to the original payment method. Partial refunds are not offered during the pilot.
aRide uses account, ride, and payment-event data to operate the service, prevent fraud, and provide support. Stripe processes payment methods and identity verification; aRide does not store full card numbers or Social Security numbers.
aRide is in limited U.S. pilot development. Availability is not guaranteed. Drivers must maintain an eligible membership and payout status. Riders must review the disclosed fare and fee before paying.
Pilot participants receive a direct support channel during onboarding. Billing questions, payment errors, safety issues, and refund requests are handled through that channel and documented in the participant’s account.
